TRAIL GUIDES - WHERE TO STAY - WHAT TO DO - WHERE TO SHOOT
PHOTOGRAPHY LOCATIONS
The Canadian Rockies is a mecca for landscape photography. Whether it be on a hike in Kananaskis, a lakeside sunrise in Banff National Park or a drive on the Icefields Parkway there is always an incredible scene to capture.
I’ve been exploring and photographing the Canadian Rockies for the best part of a decade searching out the best locations and compositions for stunning images.
If you also interested in capturing once in a life time images and memories whilst on your trip here to the Rockies be sure to check out all my top photography spots.
Hiking TRAILS
Hiking in the Canadian Rockies has to be one of the best activities you can do in terms of general enjoyment and photographic opportunity. There are world class trails here on every corner and whether you’re a first time hiker or seasoned pro there will be the perfect trail with jaw dropping views waiting for you!
What to do in the Canadian Rockies?
Although hiking and photography has to be by far my most favourite thing to do in the Canadian Rockies there is also an abundance of other options. From renting bikes to guided tours and Canoeing on Moraine Lake to visiting one of the many museums you’ll find activities for all budgets and for the whole family.
You’ll also find that the majority of these activities will give you even more photography opportunities and breath turning views at every turn.
